Women's Ministry is an effort of The Chapel in Marlboro whose mission is to express God's love by supporting the spiritual, personal and social needs of women-encouraging them to reach their full potential for Christ.  Coordinator: Vondea Sheaffer

Men's Ministry consists of Bible studies and prayer meetings, practical projects, and sports challenge men to cultivate their walk of faith. Men have opportunity to develop lifelong friendships and encourage one another in fulfilling their roles at work and home. Involvement with Promise Keepers is a vital part of the men's ministry. The Sunday morning ministry meets from 8:00-9:00 AM to pray for our pastors, the worship services, church programs, our missionaries, and those with special needs.

  Service

Hands to Lend This service ministry assists The Chapel in the planning and preparation of food for various activities and banquets. The commitment can be as much or as little as you enjoy! Come lend a hand!  Coordinator: Jill Petersen

Funeral Dinners As a service to the families of The Chapel, willing hands are available to serve a light meal to friends and family following the loss of a loved one. Contact one of the coordinators if you would like to assist in preparation or serving. Coordinators; Virginia McKay, Pat Ross, and Pam Strouble.

Encouragement

Women Together Join us for special events designed to give you an opportunity to meet other women and to become familiar with the ministries of The Chapel. Women Together programs are held in The Source at 7:00 PM. on the third Monday of each month during the school year. The $5.00 charge includes program and a delicious dinner. Coordinators: Vondea Sheaffer and Cathy Rainieri

Women's Friendship Brunch A quarterly meeting with other women in a casual and friendly atmosphere. Following a light meal and a time of devotion, you will have an opportunity to share conversation and prayer with other ladies. Coordinator: Serena Cochran

Moms in Touch Meeting the fourth Tuesday of each month during the school year from 9-11 AM, young and experienced moms meet for a time of fellowship, encouragement and support. Topics cover spiritual, personal and parental issues! Childcare is available for a nominal fee. Coordinator: Laura Tartar

 Prayer

Prayer Chain A network of prayer surrounds those who express needs or concerns. Call the coordinator if you would like to be part of a morning or evening prayer chain.  Coordinators: Christine Bailey & Nancy Cummins

Ladies' Prayer Ministry meets Sunday morning from 8:00-9:00 AM in Safe Harbor to pray for our pastors, their families and for the worship services as well as for our missionaries and those with special needs. Coordinator: Christine Bailey

Support Groups

DIVORCECARE is a weekly video seminar and support group for people who have experienced divorce. The group meets 6-7:30 p.m. on Sunday evenings (as needed) and is led by Ron Bowers

A newly organized group for children,  DC4K (Divorce Care for Kids), is directed by Robin Data and Curt Tinlin at the same time the adults meet.

GRIEFSHARE  is a weekly video seminar and support group for people who are grieving the death of someone close to them. You will learn valuable information about recovering from your grief and renewing your hope for the future. The group meets 6-7:30 p.m. on Sunday evenings and is led by Jim Justice, Sr.
TEARS TO JOY is a weekly Bible discussion  on Philippians, the book of joy. This study, for those who have completed the first steps of Grief Share Recovery, is led by Sandy Lee and Mary Hilmer.
